The Textiles Club is a chance to learn some great skills and techniques in a subject that is rarely taught in schools these days. Each term will run a different project with a different technique/skill such as embroidery/cross stitch; felting; knitting; crocheting; and sewing e.g. cushion covers, simple clothing, etc. Each project will also include some designing and planning.
The club currently has children from school years 4-7 (age 9-12) – although there is a little flexibility with the age cut off so please do get in touch if your child falls outside of this age range but you think they would be interested. It currently runs on a Wednesday after school, with two time slots of 3.20-4.20pm and 4.15-5.15pm and costs £72 per child for the next six week half term, starting on 26th February 2025.
