Summer Sessions

Whether you’re interested in getting a taster of our weekly Textiles club or Birthday parties or are just after some Summer entertainment, our Summer Sessions provide the perfect opportunity to try out some art and textiles skills. The following sessions will be at Newcourt Community Centre:

ART SESSION: Friday 8th August, 1.30-3.30pm

Each child will have the opportunity to junk model a lamp, with a set of fairy lights, alongside other arty activities.
Cost: £12.50 per child, attending with an adult or £17.50 per child attending without an adult. £2.50 sibling discount.
Includes all materials and a snack.

TEXTILES SESSION: Wednesday 27th August, 9.30-11.30am

Each child will have the opportunity to sew their own pouch and to customise their own clothing.
Cost: £15 per child, attending with an adult or £20 per child attending without an adult. £2.50 sibling discount.
Bring an item of clothing you are happy for your child to customise. All other materials are included, as well as a snack.

Both sessions have limited spaces, allocated on a first come first served basis. If you stay with your child, there will be the opportunity to purchase a slice of cake and unlimited tea and coffee for £2.50

As well as the above dates, we are also running the following sessions from our home in lower Newcourt:

ART SESSION: Wednesday 30th July, 1-4pm

Multiple art and craft activities.
Cost: £25 per child – drop and go (unfortunately there is no space for parents to stay for this session).
Includes all materials and a snack.

TEXTILES DAY: Monday 11th August, 9-3pm

Transformation challenge using sewing machines and various techniques.
Cost: £50 per child – drop and go (unfortunately there is no space for parents to join this day).
Includes all materials, lunch and snacks.

Places are extremely limited for both of these sessions.

To join any of the sessions listed, please complete the registration form below and then look out for an email confirming your space (please check your spam if it doesn’t arrive). If spaces are unavailable, I will add you to my waitlist and let you know this. If your space is confirmed, I will also send a payment link for payment by BACS.
